My journey with hair has been interesting, to say the least. Over the years, I’ve had my hair box colored, highlighted, cut, and pretty much everything under the sun done to it. This time around, I also tried quite a few hair care products, including drugstore shampoos, various conditioners (including leave-in conditioners), dry shampoos, serums, and scrubs.
No matter how much I tried, I couldn’t find a product that actually made my hair healthy and look good. So when Ashley Tisdale’s wellness brand, Being French, sent me samples of their new hair care collection, I jumped at the chance to try out a new product that could save my lifeless, dull, and fine hair. . Needless to say, I’ve already listed Being Frenshe as my favorite brand of 2025. Because it completely revamped my hair and revolutionized my approach to hair care. I quickly became a fan and have already thrown away my go-to product that I have been using for years.
In addition to gathering customer feedback for Being Frenshe, Tisdale tells Real Simple that she drew inspiration from her own hair and scalp journey to create the collection. “Over the years, I’ve done a lot of things[to my hair]from extensions to color. And I’ve also experienced hair loss, so I don’t take my hair for granted anymore.” she speaks. “I simplified my routine and prioritized scalp care, and my hair looked and felt much better.”
With just a few products, your hair will not only be healthier, but shiny, smooth, and full of life. The best part? Being Frenshe is available at Target and all hair products are less than $15 each. Keep reading for a full review of my favorite products from the collection.
lavender cloud restore shampoo
I was most drawn to Being Frenshe’s Restore product line. Because each product is said to moisturize dry hair and repair damaged hair. As someone who has fine, curly hair with wobbly oily patches, I thought this was a great option to bring some life back to my hair without weighing it down. So I started using Restore Shampoo and was really surprised at how good my hair felt right after lathering it up and rinsing it off in the shower. Normally, my hair is squeaky clean after rinsing out the shampoo, but feels dry and dry, but after using Restore Shampoo, it became surprisingly smooth and soft.
My hair felt instantly softer thanks to the shampoo’s gentle formula. Contains ceramides and hemisqualane, known for their ability to repair damaged hair, reduce breakage, strengthen tresses, and reduce frizz. Needless to say, it smells amazing. Made with essential oils and scents of lavender, sage, coconut milk, and purple iris, it instantly made me feel relaxed and at ease.
lavender cloud restore conditioner
At Being Frenshe, we recommend a combination of Restore Shampoo and Restore Conditioner, and that’s exactly what I did. After rinsing your hair thoroughly, take a quarter-sized amount of conditioner and massage it thoroughly throughout your hair, from roots to ends. Most of the conditioners I’ve used in the past have been heavy and left my hair feeling heavy and oily, so this formula is lightweight and I was happy to use it right away. Like the shampoo, the conditioner is also made with ceramides and hemisqualane, which provides a silky smooth texture that leaves your hair incredibly healthy and nourished.
Lavender Cloud Reset & Renew Hair Mask
I’m not usually the type to do extensive hair care. I usually use shampoo and conditioner in the shower and that’s it. But when I received the Reset & Renew Hair Mask, I knew there was no better time than now to try something new outside of my comfort zone. A generous 10-ounce size, this mask is infused with squalane, ceramides, and shea butter to leave your hair feeling feather-light with every use.
After shampooing, I left the mask on my hair for 15 minutes while I exfoliated and shaved my legs. I couldn’t believe how smooth my hair felt after rinsing it out. But that’s not all. When I towel-dried my hair and used my regular round brush, it looked like it had been treated at a salon, and my sister-in-law noticed right away and said, “Your hair is so smooth.” It’s lying very well! The proof is in the newspaper or in the compliments of your in-laws, folks.
This mask is one of my favorite items from Tisdale’s collection. “When I really want to relax, I light a lavender cloud candle, add a milky bath bomb to my tub, and apply a Reset & Renew hair mask. It’s pure bliss,” she shares.
Cashmere Vanilla Ritual Refresh Dry Shampoo
As I mentioned earlier, I suffer from oily hair almost every day. You’re lucky if your hair doesn’t feel greasy or oily the day after you shower. As a result, dry shampoo is always within easy reach. Ritual Refresh Dry Shampoo is also my go-to. It absorbs excess oil from the scalp and roots and won’t leave your hair feeling weirdly powdery, powdery or rough. It’s formulated with rice starch and hyaluronic acid to provide skin-friendly and effective results. To use, I shook the bottle well, held it about 10 inches away from my roots, and sprayed it several times until the product was absorbed into my hair. I massaged it into my scalp and roots and brushed it through my hair to work it into my hair. My hair looked freshly washed and blow-dried for hours after use. Now it’s part of my routine when my hair needs a little teasing. I’m awake. Additionally, the dry shampoo has the Cashmere Vanilla scent from Being Frenshe, which is my favorite from the brand. A soothing, warm, and soothing scent with notes of vanilla, jasmine rice, and sandalwood.
These are my personal favorites from Being Frenshe’s hair care product line, but I can confidently say that every product is worth your time and attention.
