The Substance includes an homage to Lost Highway, a commentary on female aging in the patriarchy, Margaret Qualley wearing a face gem, and Demi Moore summarizing her career. Everything is packed, including performance. Horror films have historically been excluded from awards, but Moore won a Golden Globe this year for her role as Elizabeth Sparkle. She looked absolutely radiant during her emotional acceptance speech.
Her makeup artist Rokael Lizama prepared her for the big night with an array of Dior beauty products. But what intrigued me the most was the brand’s new skin firming and plumping Capture Ox-C Treatment Day Cream.
Dior OX-C Treatment Day Cream
Moore’s skin is ageless and fair, so I will keep her skin forever. A simple explanation of this moisturizer is that it restores oxygen (which decreases with age) to the epidermis, making it firmer, firmer, and toned. This begins a domino effect of increased collagen production, increased skin cell regeneration (i.e. less hyperpigmentation and dull cells), and increased moisture and water retention. Auxiliary ingredients such as peptides, hyaluronic acid, and lily extract further enhance the aforementioned quick effects.
Since it’s a new product, shoppers haven’t had a chance to comment. That being said, in addition to the aforementioned benefits, a clinical study conducted by the brand found that Capture Ox-C Treatment Day Cream also has the ability to enhance fullness and contour.
Dior’s Capture Ox-C Treatment Day Cream is good enough for Moore, so it’s good enough for me. Head over to Nordstrom to shop and check out more of her Golden Globes glamor below.
