Does your 2025 bingo card have Heidi Klum returning to Project Runway? If so, you’re in luck. Today, people learned that the German supermodel is making a big comeback in the fashion world.

The Ella Enchanted actress originally hosted the show from 2004 to 2017. Her last appearance on the reality series was in the season 16 finale in November 2017. After eight years of “Auf Wiedersehen” (her signature farewell to the eliminated contestants each week), she returns to our screens in season 21, a 10-episode series that airs weekly. The jury and premiere date have not yet been announced.

“After 16 amazing seasons, I say ‘Auf Wiedersehen’ to Project Runway, a show that I have had the pleasure of hosting and producing.” Klum said in a statement at the time. You will always have a special place in my heart. We’re so grateful to our loyal fans and most importantly grateful that we’ve been able to shine a light on creativity and help launch the careers of so many talented designers. ”

In addition to bringing her electric personality to each episode, Klum also showed off her eccentric style, from dazzling minidresses to daring pantsuits and glamorous gowns.

Klum was nominated for an Emmy Award nine times during her tenure, winning the award in 2013 with co-host and close friend Tim Gunn. The competition program itself has received a whopping 49 endorsements during its 20 seasons of operation.

Over the years, the show has featured dozens of designers, including Christian Siriano and Gunnar Deseraj, as well as shows like All Stars (featuring designers from previous seasons) and Juniors (featuring participants of all ages and backgrounds). A spin-off show was also born.

After Klum left, model Karlie Kloss took over as host for seasons 17 and 18, with Siriano as her mentor. Siriano served as host and mentor in seasons 19 and 20. In 2013, Klum also joined America’s Got Talent and continues to serve as a judge on the reality competition show.
